1How we grade evidence
Every health claim on this site carries one of these badges. Click any badge to come back here.
- AGrade A: strong - multiple RCTs or meta-analyses agree on clinically used outcomes
- BGrade B: moderate - small or short RCTs, research markers only, or consistent large cohorts
- CGrade C: weak - observational, mechanistic, or pilot data
- DGrade D: no real evidence - anecdote, testimonial or opinion
- ✕Evidence points the other way, or this is unsafe as stated
A grade describes how strong the human evidence is, not whether we like the idea. A claim can be true and still be graded C because nobody has run a proper trial. When good studies disagree, we say so next to the claim.
